Ant’s Halls Gap House is a two bedroom plus sleeping loft holiday house located on Grampians Road, less than 1 km from the centre of Halls Gap. Built in late 2006 the house features many passive solar features such as double glazed windows, solar slats and above standard insulation.
Downstairs you will find an open plan dining - galley kitchen - lounge with a slow combustion wood fire heater, two bedrooms, a bathroom / toilet and a cupboard laundry.
Upstairs is a teen loft featuring two double futons and a games shelf. The loft overlooks the downstairs living area.
Outside wide verandahs wrap around the house on three sides with a massive deck to the north and east overlooking the valley floor with fantastic views of the Mount William Range and Boronia Peak. Plantings of herbs and fruit trees around the house offer seasonal complements to cooking for visitors and a new gas BBQ and some comfortable chairs complete the scene.
